THE TRENDS THAT MATTER FOR 2022

THE TRENDS THAT MATTER FOR 2022

Whenever we start a new year and even more before the current one ends, we are always looking at what will be the trends of the following year to be up to date as the
latest or just go with the global flow. But what if this time we forget a little about fashion, accessories, etc., and we do not focus on what really matters and that with
the whole pandemic issue we realized that we did not have guaranteed; exactly, our health and well-being.

Things you'll need to keep in mind if you want to raise your level of well-being and improve your quality of life:

With eye-opening new research on how “Gut Health” influences immune response and chronic disease, the microbiome is becoming the center of health and wellness. “Food as medicine” so migrating to conscious nutrition will be determinant in your habits to improve your health.medicina” por lo que migrar a una nutrición consciente será determinante en tus hábitos para mejorar tu salud.

Regenerative travel will henceforth be the new way to vacation: The pandemic has given travel providers and travelers time to think about improving travel by embracing slower, less destructive and more conscious travel experiences, which means leaving the places we visit better than when we found them: from new 100% energy positive properties to tourism boards that now measure success not by money generated but by community and environmental well-being.

Breathing stars: Practitioners are taking the magical practice of breathing in fascinating new directions. With the pandemic, the world has collectively focused on our breath, but even as the virus recedes, breathwork will gain momentum thanks to innovators who are taking the art of breathwork to large new audiences and pushing it into entirely new territories, so start looking for a breath coach.

Travelers will seek out the wildest and most remote wilderness:  The pandemic pushed the nature-worshipping trend in travel to a whole new level, with many moves on both the mainstream and luxury ends. New establishments are thinking beyond property gardens and launching truly amazing nature experiences and designs, from waterfall bathing to ice hiking.

“Wellness” Meetings: accelerated by the pandemic, but a permanent change. Incorporating more “wellness” into meetings and events was a pre-pandemic trend, but often remained mere attempts such as mini mindfulness breaks. The pandemic made healthier meetings in every sense a necessity, and the future is about re-imagining every moment of an event from a wellness standpoint: more mental wellness, more nature, more authentic cultural and culinary experiences, and connecting people in a
much deeper (yet safer) way, so it’s time to turn around the way you host your family, social and work events.

New public spaces where culture, art and design meet nature and wellness: Cities are rethinking their landscapes: moving away from cars, pollution and endless commerce/consumerism to develop green spaces, while new multi-sensory experiences emerge that specifically incorporate art and wellness.

Real Estate and Wellness Communities: new momentum, new directions spanning the combination of home, work and wellness, to a huge new value for nature, to a shift in senior living and wellness communities for non-billionaires.

Medicine Meets Wellness: Recent signs of a new convergence. Signs are multiplying that a new era has arrived in which the complementary, if often combative, relationship between medicine and wellness is being rethought. The pandemic was the jolt that forced medicine to finally focus on prevention. At the same time, wellness companies are increasingly forced to embrace some hard science, as silly, unproven wellness fads feel “so 2019”.

Biophilia: Not a passing trend, but the future of architecture and design. Homes, cities, workplaces, and hotels intentionally designed to creatively reconnect people with nature are at a major inflection point.

And you know what is the best of all, there is a place that includes all that in your travel or retreat experience either for a single day or for a long stay to learn the principles and habits that will represent the future and strengthening of public health and quality of life, that place is Cartesiano Urban Wellness Center and is the beautiful city of Puebla, so you already have your first New Year’s resolution: Visit Cartesiano.
